Who We are



We are a volunteer-led network of rohingya women nationally and internationally, all dedicated to the achievement of RWN‘s aims / objective and looking for most impact by building on their respective strength and capacity.

we believe there should be an institution which, can help empowerment of destitute rohingya women for the common development of our people, can take initiative to convince them to participate on the way of our struggle of freedom in effective ways, can assist our desperate women in every aspects of their lives and make them realize how important their roles are  for our future. For the better future of our generation, we all need to work together hand in hand men, women, elder, younger, children and everyone. . To make it happen the first step to take is to strengthen our women who are the main man power left in or society   through different kind massacres and ethnic cleansings programmes   because this is the only way to our freedom. Therefore, we determined to have a medium with everyone who has common interest of empowering, facilitating, strengthening rohingya women as which is one of the priority steps to take with the battle of genocide, ethnic cleansings, massacre and crime against humanity towards rohingya for decades and decades. 


Mission

RWN’s mission is to protects and promote the Rohingya women’s and children’s rights; social, economic, education and justice thorough promoting awareness of issues effecting them and giving them a voice in their environments.

Aim and objectives

-          Promote the rights of Rohingya people, in particular women and children.
-          Promote gender equality
-          Raise international awareness for the struggles faced by the women
-          Protection of women and children.
-          Provide an opportunity to educate girls and women
-          Encourage women's participation in politics.
-          Provide health care services and health education

Achieving our Aims

  •  We will raise awareness internationally, nationally and locally of problems that rohingya women are facing .
  • We will use a sustainable development programs, public education, campaign, advocacy and humanitarian assistance to promote rohingya women and children lives
  • We will work with all levels-  global to local who has who has common interest of empowering, facilitating, strengthening rohingya women
  • We will challenges the root causes of the injustice and violence against woman at national, local, community and household levels with rights-based approach to development.
  •   We will researches the facts of individual cases and patterns of violence against women. We will address it in governments, political party, NGO organizations, companies and nationally, locally and community.

Our belief

We believe that women will live from free from violence and gender dicrimination through changes in attitudes, ideas and beliefs about gender relations and through increased levels of women’s active engagement and leadership in institutions, decision making and change processes.
